             Legends tell of the “wispwillow wraith” that haunts the tangled wood on foggy nights. Parents caution their children to never wander the woods on those sorts of nights lest they be taken, never to be seen again.

Most wraith sightings turn out to simply be Belladonna observing her nightly ritual of harvesting the flora and fungi of the woods. It doesn't hurt to operate under the cover of darkness and fog, either; others might get the wrong idea about why a witch such as herself is harvesting so many poisonous species in particular. Her reasons for brewing and studying poisons are strictly clinical: the more she learns about a poison, the better she can know how to counteract it.

Belladonna has built up a considerable resistance to most toxins after sampling her poisons throughout the years. The crown she dons is made up entirely of poisonous flowers, including belladonna (her namesake), spider and stargazer lilies, foxglove, lily of the valley, daphne, and autumn crocus. Despite her near immunity to the poisons, she is always sure to carry the corresponding antidotes in case she comes across any who may need it.
