Biography
Alfie is the once favored son. It is not that he has been particularly replaced by any one other dragon. In fact he is still highly favored, in that his children have produced children who bring honor and beautiful children of their own into the Nest.
Instead, in looking after a larger nest, Glinda has given less time to her favored son. It stings a little for him, but Alfie doesn't care as much. He is busy making certain the Nest is cared for, especially the babies, who are often a handful. He knows his position in the Nest is secure. He won't be sent away, at least.
