A small egg lost in Wispwillow Grove, Vanathi and her sister were raised by the darkened trees and small lights of fireflies, faeries, and the stars themselves. Vanathi grew to protect the woods from dragons who would otherwise destroy the trees that housed many of the creatures she called her family.

Upon joining the clan, Vanathi put a stop to fae and firefly catching for lamps. She expressed to the whole clan how they suffered in the jars and lamp casings, then suggested using some of the small glowing fungi, as it would last longer and not hurt anything, but be only slightly dimmer, which was hardly noticeable after the clan gave it a try.
