Skinweaver, the once revered and feared dragon, now sits as the family's reformed leader. When he was decades younger, the ridgeback was known for his violent and unstable tendencies. Although a strong leader, he would skin the bodies of his fallen enemies and scatter their sliced remains across the lands, amongst other horrendous war crimes.

Now, one quick glance at the ridgeback's past makes the dragon almost vomit in utter disgust and horror. He can only be thankful for the merciful god or gods whose power has granted him the opportunity to start anew. Even if he doubts the gods' decision on a daily basis.

Skinweaver thanks the gods for his closest partner, Janus, for it was his light that opened the ridgeback's eyes.

The clan follows only one rule: the Golden Rule, as written by Janus himself. Only by being retaliated against shall they protect themselves with equal force. There is no single dominion here, all beliefs and lack-their-of are open and to be respected here. And yet, this doesn't fix all of the issues that plague countless societies from across the globe.

THE GLOAMING is a nomadic family. Although the dragon's main home will forever reside in the Plague, the dragons will fly and gallop for miles just to experience new sights and sounds, as well as new trade opportunities. And all while trying to maintain their own structure and culture.
