Icy winds slash through the air, pushing thick flurries of snow over the Frigid Floes. Water laps hungrily at the edges of the broken ice chunks and larger land mass further off. In the snow, a small huddle is coiled under the frozen crystals. Tiny wings wrap around the thin form as it quivers at the angry howls of the wind. Pale eyes peek out from under the snow pile, the small spiral’s consciousness drifting in and out as she's unable to stand the freezing temperatures. Even as her gaze fades, though, she notices a small figure approaching on even tinier wings. The blue tint of the being catches her eye as it stands out from the endless thick layer of white covering the ice she rests on. The hatchling watches weakly, unable to gather the strength to uncoil as her remaining energy is sapped by the shivers wracking her frame. Although born in the ice flight, she is not a Tundra and the Icewarden is not known for being a soft being. The nymph floats closer, drifting to a stop in front of the small spiral and lifting her head in it’s chilled- but warmer than the surrounding- hands. A soft noise sounds through the howls, reaching her ears as she looks up at the being. “Calm, hatchling, my little Makulita vitro.” the being coos, resting their foreheads together before coaxing the small spiral out of her snow den, “Stay calm, my dear. I’ll take care of you.” The spiral drifts into unconsciousness in the cool hands of the snowflake nymph. When she awakens, the Nymph is gone, and it is warm. Sunlight filters through green leaves, sparkling off of the small forms around her. In the corner of her mind, she vaguely heard the soft voice again, whispering to her. “Be safe, my little Makulita...” |

Gene Plan Makulita is a dragon of delicacy. As fragile as a snowflake and it's quickly melting fractals, she's a picture of perfection. She finds perfection in everything- her tea, each flower and herb and flavor carefully measured against one another. Her way of dress, in which only the best suffices. Her existence, in which she thanks the nymph that raised her and vows to protect them in turn. |
