Mistral was hatched in the Cairnstone Rest, a stranded egg lost in the Earth. He hatched in the middle of the battle field. As the battle raged on the tiny hatchling tucked himself under a gem that was leaning on a rock to gain protection from the blood bath that was happening around him. When the battle drew to an end, and the birds began to sing their song of victory he knew it was safe. Mistral crawled out from under the gem to find that it was the Green Grove that had rang victorious over this battle. Sandy, being the Seeker of the Clan scooped up the innocent bystander and carried him home. Once in the Gladeveins, Mistral began to acquaint himself with the members of this seemingly vicious clan, he quickly learned that this place was full of friendly and caring dragons. All the members of the clan patiently awaited his growth, for a hatchling this small he had to grow into something spectacular. But to their surprise, he never grew. Mistral has stayed a small hatchling for all of his years. He doesn't complain, he is supplied with all the food he can stomach and all the fun trinkets to keep him occupied until the end of time. Mistral has made tons of friends, all of the Forever Hatchlings have made him feel right at home, playing games and keeping each other company.
