Enigana doesn't remember much of anything before the incident. She has faint flashes of memories. The smiling faces of her parents. The laughter of her two brothers as they play-fought as she watched on. A challenge for her: to find her way through the forest and retrieve...something. The dark forest at night. Fear. The laughter of her siblings as they led her astray. When did it get so cold? A warm, inviting fire on the open tundra. Maybe...just maybe....

And then....nothing. Blackness.

She doesn't remember falling asleep, but when she came to, she was cold and surrounded by flames. She knew she was supposed to feel afraid, but she....didn't. She couldn't. She reached out to touch the fire, to feel at least a little bit of warmth.

And the flame engulfed her.

Enigana watched as her brothers (were they her brothers? she can't remember their faces anymore) called out her name frantically. Begging her to come out, that it wasn't a game anymore, that their parents would kill them if she didn't come home.

She laughed at their desperation. Calling out to them gently, gently, that it was too cold, that they should come rest by the fire. Return to their search in the morning. Slowly, slowly but surely, the flame on the tundra draws them closer, ever so closer. They curl up next to her, close their eyes. Almost endearing, she thinks.

And she laughs as she drains their life forces.
