There isn't much need for a tinkerer, but whenever there is Decembre takes pride in his work. He used to be a keeper - looking after battle familiars and designing sentinel armour for them on the side, but now he mostly lazes about and eats. He is a vegetarian, he hates insects and chews through most of the clan's plants. No one minds as many eat other things. His mate was a young mirror dragon named Jackie, descended from the clan leader as his first hatchling. She was exalted by the leader's command, and Decembre is proud of her even though she was unsure about serving for Windsinger - she didn't believe in exalting which is the one thing Decembre disliked. His wings failed him years ago. He built a contraption to hold them for support, but he cannot fly without intense discomfort.

He mediates almost all of the clan's disputes, and is well-liked by all of the dragons due to his ability to read emotions really well. He recently has found good company in Cezanne after Marisol asked him to look after him while she cared for the newest hatchlings, and they have spent lots of time together due to having nothing else to do. Jackie was infertile by the time they had decided on hatchlings, and his clan leader paired him up with Saartje so that he would have them close to Jackie's birth colours. Jackie was exalted before they hatched. When his three hatchlings were born, Marisol cared for them 24/7, taking care in making sure they are brought up well as Jackie was not there to help him. Decembre collected various shiny objects and created things for his offspring. Things such as coppercoil segments and many bluefin charger fins as there were an abundance of them, delighting them. He also taught them how to create brightly painted bird toys once they were old enough; after that teaching them useful skills to entertain themselves and help the clan. They were to succeed him but were eventually exalted to serve the higher power, which made him sorrowful but proud. He sometimes stays up with Utsubyo to just chat and detect energies from outside of the clan to exercise his powers.
