Marah was trained as a warrior from a young age. It was all she ever knew, until she joined Clan Corpse-Flower. She appears very ferocious and cold-hearted, as if she could kill without a second thought. But, underneath that exterior, she's actually a very sweet and gentle girl who would fiercely protect her loved ones and best friends.

She’s recently retired from a warrior’s life and now runs the clan’s snuggery, where you can drink tea, coffee, or cocktails and munch on delicious amuse-bouches.

Snuggery: (snŭg'ə-rē) n. a cosy and comfortable place.

The plant genus Marah, the wild cucumbers, are characterized by extreme bitterness. The genus was named for Marah in Exodus 15:22-25, which was said to be named for the bitter water there. Marah, the place of a well of bitter water, bitterness and murmuring.
