Elijah is blind, and is technically the equivalent of the local mortician, but he's also one of the most skilled artists in the clan, creating beautifully painted works on anything that can serve as a canvas.



"Elijah lost his sight at a very, very young age, shortly after he hatched. He doesn't remember seeing much, just a warm brightness, and brief flashes of indecipherable color. His blindness doesn't really affect his personality, maybe making him a bit apprehensive to unfamiliar environments, but the wind on the plateau guides every dragon that trusts it, and would never let him crash or fall, so he's become much braver since moving here.

While his main task is serving as kind of the local... mortician? I guess? He also spends a lot of his free time painting. Wind is a flight that celebrates the arts, no matter what form, so his abstract work has found quite a following. He's never really experienced any prejudice from dragons that live on the plateau, but any OOF visitors (especially from Ice and Light) do tend to treat him a bit differently due to preconceived notions (they quickly learn not to underestimate him, though!)" -link
