Shalhevet | Light Bearer, Mage, Night Sentry
Shalhevet was born a Nocturne from an egg the silverbrook clan found. It was expected he would become, like the existing Nocturne clan members, a creature who loved the shadows and darkness. But he was drawn to the light of fire and of dawn. He found something magical in its presence.
He began training under Wisteria, the Fae and Clan Mage, on how to use magic instead of mimicry. The other Nocturnes were baffled, but Shalhevet persisted. He greatly looked up to Wisteria and the other Fae dragons, and one day perfected a spell that transformed him from a Nocturne to a Fae dragon.
He took the name Shalhevet, meaning “Flame,” and is often found guarding the Clan while waiting for the light of dawn to break. Shalhevet often serves as a night escort and sentry for the clan in many situations, using conjured light and flame to illuminate paths and show what lies in the distance.
