Daughter of Achernar and Gawker, the clan's Firstborn. Nehara's not generally a serious group about such things, but Achernar's boisterous attitude and Gawker's attentiveness to detail have both rubbed off on their daughter, sufficiently for the rest of the clan to regard her as more or less the second in command. Indeed, on days when Achernar is indisposed or missing, for whatever reason, Rukh is the one most of the others now come to.

Rukh is a show-off and a prodigy. She enjoys flying at the height of her range, performing aerial tricks, and loves being in the air more than bothering with the land. Her consistent practice has led her to develop tolerance for the extreme cold of the upper regions of the atmosphere, and she can soar above the rest of the clan's preferred range thanks to a combination of that practice, and her thick fur. Consequently, Rukh is of the opinion that Tundras are the most aerially optimal of any draconic breed, and is always impressed when a dragon of another breed is able to keep up with her.

It was her decision to develop a team of fast, small flyers that would range ahead of Nehara's main bulk, checking for danger, prepared to ambush any attackers before they could get wind of the slower members of the clan. As such, Rukh heads up the scouting team as their captain. The best benefit of this position is that she gets to fly ahead of the clan, always on the lookout for new places to explore and experiences to enjoy. She and her mate Brandywine are both highly respected by the rest of the clan. Despite all their protests that they don't desire the Clan's leadership, they are generally treated like the Bosses-to-Be, which irks Rukh to no end and seems to amuse Brandywine.

Rukh is a fairly romantic dragon, and likes to bring back unique items and rare oddities for Brandywine to add to the clan's stocks and stores, or examine. Brandywine, consequently, likes to share xir finds when they visit the market, where sometimes even Rukh's reach cannot exceed xir connections' cleverness. They both like and get along with Achernar and Gawker, and are on friendly terms with the rest of the clan.

Rukh's closest friend, Yulia, is a fellow scout and veteran. The two of them often hare off alone and race each other. Rukh probably knows more about Yulia than almost any other dragon in the clan, and she considers them a sibling in all but actual blood. She would do anything to protect them.
