. . The Healer He / Him

A gentle, skittish Shadow dragon from the Wispwillow Grove. After being severely wounded in battle, he was left for dead by his old clan and had to learn to heal himself- leading him to his breakthrough in perfecting his medicinal techniques. Unable to navigate back home, he ended up in the Wandering Contagion, where he was met by Jumper- a female Coatl that took an immediate liking to him. She took him in, where he met the Strays and became their healer.

He spends most of his time in his office alone, preferring the company of his textbooks and familiar. It is very rare that he seeks out other dragons to socialise, and has quite a bit of anxiety surrounding all interactions outside of healing a wound.

Cat is one of two healers in the clan, and is responsible for mending dragons quickly with magic, while their other healer, Woe, is more specialised in long-term recovery. The two often speak about their techniques, though Woe finds magical healing to be a precarious way to save a dragon's life and is often cold towards Catbird, though the Coatl stays positive and continues to seek the more experienced healer's guidance.
