Regal

There was once a strong and independent middle aged dragon. But he had a tiny soft spot. Cats. He loved them Oh so dearly, he bought as many as he could. He loved cats so much, they almost got annoyed. They started scratching him much more then usual. So much in fact, he had to bandage his left wing. He would often take them for walks in the spring, when the petals were falling a lot. He tried but instead he got scars and scratches. No one would visit his house just because of how aggressive his cats were. He used to think his name, regal sounded like he was the regal king of cats. But he soon wanted to change it. Yet one day, he was getting ready to go and buy some cat food, he opened the door and to his surprise some kittens bolted out the door. He chased after them so he could bring them back home, but the older parents of those kittens saw it as a threat to hurt their children, so they chased him as fast as they could (side note: some of the parents were half lion so they were big and fast.) and at the right second, pounced on regal as hard as they could giving him a bloody face. They scratched and tore, until he, unfortunately, died a pain full death. They managed to drag him back to the house, where they fed on him with their kittens for the next 2 days until they accidentally (somehow) locked themselves in the house and starved to death.
