Midnightrising

Midnight was born.. More of born dead, or so his parents thought.
He did not more nor breath when he first hatched, his body cold to the touch. He was one of the first clutch that was hatched by the new parents, thinking they angered the gods, they took to bury the hatchling. It was close to midnight when they had finished the preparations. Laying him on the burial ground, they buried him,

Both sitting in mourning as the last bit of dirt was pushed in.

They we're both about to leave when they heard something coming from the grave, a chitter then clawing at the dirt. They a ray of arcane fire broke through the grave. Out crawled the once thought dead chick. Its body morphed to that of arcane nebula's and other markings. With one more chitter, the chick flew up into the air and did a few laps around the hole he emerged from. Thus earning him the name 'Midnightrising'.

From then forth, Midnight was thought as a blessed child of theirs. Arcanist gave the chick a second chance and Midnight live to it. He trained with his father and learned few spells from his mother. Each giving him strength to protect his clan.

He fell for a yingyang looking ridgeback. A child of the infamous Melchior, but he could care less. He mated few times with the ridgeback. Producing nothing but other mirrors.. To this, the ridgeback hated him. She wanted more of her kind to lavish, not the children she bore now.

She ended up dumping him for another of her kind and ran off with them. Midnight was left devastated at this, but he moved on slowly.

Midnight is an oddity in himself, he prefers to help those he can, even if he doesn't gets help in the process, injuries are no concern.
