Biography
Autumn
Counsel Leader
Thoughtful
Likes soft sounds and music
Holds all members of her clan at equal importance. No one is above another.
Autumn was the first to stir the air in this territory and call it home. After the long flight from her homelands to find this place she was happy she found it. A wide open clearing with large trees and thick bamboo forests surrounding it. A clear cool river could be heard not to far off. And where the plants lay thick and water is close, bugs are usually plenty. She could almost hear her stomach give a silent cheer.
She looked around the feild and saw on the far side was a large, half fallen tree, its leaves still green as the roots clung onto life in the disturbed dirt. She wondered what had happened to have caused it to fall, then if it was safe to go under or attach a nest to.
~well, no way to know but to try i suppose~ she thought to herself. She began to go about collecting sap from the other trees that were still fully standing before taking it back to the tree, choosing a spot that appeared safe among the lower branches, and shaping the sticky syrup before curing it into place. She had to repeat this several times before she was happy with the size of the nest and nodded to herself, "this will do for now." She looked out around her new territory, "this will do nicely i think"
The Beginning of the Counsel
Autumn sighed as again she listened to the large Oriental and Ridgeback argue below. Something about some 'borrowed' sash or something....
"And you're always snooping around my food hoard!" Accused the annoyed oriental, Metis.
"I was under the impression we all shared food here," replied the Ridgeback, though it was clear he knew Metis always had a stockpile of food he hoarded to himself even though it was true food here was to be shared.
Autumn sighed. They had already tried to lead with a single leader, but with how quickly this clan was growing it was proving difficult.
She was too small to break up arguements between the larger members, or those who thought their arguements should be settled tooth and claw. So it was now impossible for her to lead on her own.
However, it seemed most of these dragons feared a leader of a different breed from themselves would show favoritism to their own kind.
~the trouble is we cant have a multi-species leader~ thought Autumn as she continued to watch the arguement from her amber nest. She crossed her small arms and sighed again.....
Then a light went on in her mind ~a multi-species leader, no. But multiple species leaders, perhaps~
She leapt from her nest and darted between the noses of the two annoyed dragons, "I'm sure that sash is very important, but we'll find it later. I have important news with everyone we must discuss. Now"
Autumn was appointed the Fae representative, and the head of counsel. There to be sure each job was done and no one was slacking off. Which she thought was the odd choice for someone of her size, but the majority vote agreed that since she say the problem in the first place, she should hold that position.
