Aramorel
Rouge - The Watchtower

Youth: After being abandoned by his family - namely his father as he felt he was too soft, he was rescued by an Arcane clan lead by a Tundra dragon named Tintallie and a young Coatl named Mooncloud. Mooncloud and Aramorel grew as close friends as they had both faced abandonment. Aramorel told of his experience with his father and how he'd believed he was the weakest among his twin siblings. Mooncloud helped him with mental support as he finally began to feel at home with his new clan. The two were inseparable and played together everyday. He learned a lot from her and she from him.
Teen: As he grew older, Aramorel started to feel less and less like he belonged in his clan. The other dragons there seemed to fit in perfectly, but he felt that his aggressive blood from his Plague clan family line made him an outsider in an environment full of accepting and kind dragons. In his teenage years, he started developing what was more than a friendship with Mooncloud, at least from his side. She never seemed very interested in him in that way, however. He was crushed at the thought, but continued to slowly show his affection in small ways like bringing her food she liked or bringing her flowers. As he was still in love with Mooncloud, a male Coatl named Snap joined the clan and she seemed all about him instantly. The feeling crippled him as he grew more and more distant from his clan and Mooncloud. She stopped hanging around him as much as most of her time was consumed with Snap.
Young Adult: In adulthood, Aramorel grew cold and hateful towards most of his clanmates, especially towards Snap. He didn't feel much of anything anymore except pure hatred and aggression. He thought a lot more of his father and how he'd love to meet him now and prove he wasn't soft anymore. He wanted revenge for his abandonment, for he knew this would've never happened had his father not left him alone to die. Love was a very difficult thing for him to understand and he refused to try to love anyone, only feeling the sting of rejection when such a feeling arose. He decided to train as a thief and assassin in order to give himself purpose. He came across and trained secretly with a Plague clan leader and Guardian dragon of the name Andragil. He worked primarily with her and often didn't even come home to his clan, not that they'd notice anyway. She was a sort of mother to him and gave him the nickname of 'Watchtower' due to his height and his spy-like abilities. He would scope the land in search of weaklings or treasures and items to steal for Andragil. In return for this, she gave him the ability to stay and hide out in her clan which he feels welcome and not like an outsider. There in her clan, he also meets another Imperial dragon named Juliet. She, too, had been laid up there as she didn't feel at home in her clan either. She was training as a thief and was often assigned by Andragil to go with Aramorel in search of treasures on his thieving days. The two began to grow close as both admired the other's skill in stealth. There were a few flings here and there, but it pained him to grow closer to her as he didn't want to fall in love with her. He mustn't give in to how he feels. He refuses to say anything to Juliet as he tries to detach himself from her altogether, however she comes to him one day informing him of her pregnancy. He is shocked at the news and is unsure of what to do. Did he really love her? She was about to give birth to his offspring! That night as he was still shaken up, he was given a dream that he must let his children be born in his Arcane clan. He wasn't one for prophecies, but something deeply urged him to go through with it. That night very early in the morning hours, he wakes Juliet up and they sneak into the clan. Being the kind and charitable dragon Tintallie had been, he allowed for Juliet to become one of them as she raised her children there. A day later, one egg is born and Aramorel has a sense of pride and hopefulness suddenly. He had no idea he'd ever be a father, but he'd promised himself he'd be a much better one than his father was to him. However, as they wait for their egg to hatch, Aramorel must remain in a clan he doesn't feel welcome in with the mother of his child who he is unsure he even loves.
Adult: Aramorel awakes early the day his egg is supposed to hatch. He'd been planning on taking his new son or daughter and flying away with them in order to escape this clan and hopefully even Juliet, as he didn't want to love again. Juliet herself was also awake, however, as was a young Coatl dragon named Invidia who was recently found as an egg and had hatched the day prior. She had followed Juliet in to watch the hatching of their egg. Aramorel felt stress welling up in his chest, but remained calm and collected on the exterior. Soon, cracking sounds were heard as a little light gray male Imperial pushed through the egg. In that instant, Aramorel felt a strong sense of adoration and purpose. His son! He immediately thought of the name Ashurr for him. As Ashurr emerged from the egg, he instantly caught sight of Invidia and began engaging play with her. He saw himself and Mooncloud in their places and his stomach twisted. But he had to remind himself that Ashurr was born Arcane, not an aggressive Plague dragon who knew much of his lineage. His plan was to take Ashurr and return forever to his Plague clan, but he knew he couldn't take Ashurr from the clan he belonged in. He tried time and time again to convince himself that it wasn't abandonment, but he couldn't get around it, he abandoned his son in his previous clan. He only hoped it was for his own good and happiness.
Months later, Aramorel grew more and more distant from the thoughts of his son, Ashurr. He did, however, still want the feeling of pride in having a son, without being with Juliet in a different clan. Maple, a young Imperial female within his clan, had come into season lately. He felt nothing for her, but with her young and naive mindset, she would be easy to manipulate. Within weeks of him knowing her, she was pregnant with his eggs. A spike of greed met him then as he chose to live a more malicious lifestyle. He knew of his power and the corruption within him became more evident as time passed. Andragil had fallen ill in this time, and he had taken advantage of that, assassinating her and her son for power over the clan. He felt nothing anymore, but greed and ambition. Soon, his eggs were born and had hatched into male and female Imperials. He immediately saw potential in the son, disregarding the daughter and Maple. He named his son Albion and cast down his daughter Amborsia and Maple to a lower ranking within the clan. He forbade anyone treat him or his son any less than like royalty. He finally was proud of his offspring and this one he knew he would not abandon, instead he would train him in the way of a strong and ambitious leader.
