Zulu’s Beta and one of his chosen hunting partners, Myrkvi is in an interesting position. As a Wildclaw she would be expected to fall within their ranks, obeying Fuaran with the rest of the Wildclaw sub-pack. Instead she is placed outside of the normal raking system of her breed due to her special role. As one of the Alphas, Zulu’s desires go overrule all else, which means that as his hunting partner Myrkvi is afforded unique status. Interestingly enough, this does not bring her into conflict with Fuaran. To the contrary, the pair get along quite well, likely because each is fully aware that the other has no interest in challenging them for their rank. This may also be due to mutual respect for the savagery they are capable of.

Snappish and easily angered, it is a good thing that Myrkvi spends so much of her time hunting with Zulu, otherwise she would have no other outlet for her desire for carnage. Hunting prey and challenging intruders allows her to put her razor sharp talons and love of violence to good use. In not for hunting she would very likely resort to attacking members of the clan out of boredom. Fortunately, stalking prey gives her plenty to keep herself occupied. She finds the time spent trailing game to be relaxing and then finally lunging in for the kill and feeling the spray of warm blood as a once living thing becomes nothing more than so much meat to be eaten extremely satisfying. Despite being a swift and efficient hunter, she does have a fondness for dragging out the actual act of killing, preferring to play with her prey as much as possible before finally delivering the fatal stroke.
