Charlene

Charlene was once know for her exotic scales and elegant colors; but as I said before, that was long ago. One day, Charlene was walking through the taverns where she once lived when suddenly, the walls started to shake and the earth started splitting, an earthquake! Earthquakes were common in this part of the caverns, the grown dragons would just fly to a secure piece of land and wait it out but this earthquake was different; the difference with this earthquake was who was there. As Charlene was flying to a safe spot she heard a faint noise, as she listened harder, she could hear that it was baby dragons! Instinctively, Charlene turned in the direction of the noise and soon saw the baby dragons trapped in a corner while the earth underneath them began to crack. Right before the ground beneath them split open, Charlene swiped her tail at them and struck them so hard that they landed in the area she was going to. Sadly, before Charlene could get back into the air, the ground beneath her caved in and she fell before the hatchlings could understand what was happening, Charlene had fallen into the deepest parts of the caverns; a place where only the most experienced Snappers ventured. It took Charlene an entire month of tirless searching to finally find her way out. She felt forgotten by the dragons she once played with when she went to see them. As she walked away, she noticed two hatchlings searching through rubble. It was the same two she saved; once they noticed her, they began running towards her.
