Morpheus is the humorous jokester of the clan - he drives his beloved mate, Nott, up the wall sometimes, but everyone normally just laughs and rolls their eyes. While he is one of the elders of the lair, dragons rarely come to him for advice - he's not good at this whole 'being serious' thing.

However, he's the one in charge of training Exalts for the Shadowbringer and he has the ability and scars to prove it. His loyalty to Nyx also means that one messes with her at their own peril - when Nyx's old mate, Aether, tried to usurp leadership, Morpheus was the one to defeat him.

Morpheus wears his ratted and tattered blue birdskull armband with pride - back when the clan was small, birdskull apparel was the mark of adulthood. The fact that only he and Nott continue the tradition bothers him - Nyx stopped wearing her apparel after Aether's betrayal and Andraste and Rudianos, the other two elders, came after Aether's betrayal killed off the tradition. As he rolls his pearl around, he wonders what Oneiroi, Hades and Morrigan would think if they saw the clan now.
