The Law
Barb won't take no nonsense from nobody. Especially from mediums. You know who you are. Barb takes her job as sheriff very seriously, whether she's patrolling the surrounding territory or taking notes about a presumably stolen flower pot. As rigorously as she upholds justice, she has a soft spot for the least fortunate.

As rigorously as she upholds justice, she has a soft spot for the least fortunate.
History- When Barb was quite young, her mother passed away. In the months that followed, Barb's father mourned continuously, until he came across a dragon who claimed she could commune with the departed. While free at first, her 'consultations' soon siphoned as much gold from his pockets as there was. Upon realizing what was occurring, Barb was instilled with a moral fury, but there was no pleading with her father.
Barb watched as her father piddled away what little they in exchange for sweet nothing from that viper's mouth. Her venom, laced with deceit, could be plunged straight into the heart and yet not kill. At least, not directly. Without enough to afford a home, there was nowhere to hide when a wave of illness swept through the town. When it had passed, so too had her father.
Alone and wretched, Barb found accommodations in the barracks and trained to become a soldier under the local council. After completing her service, she became a mercenary for a brief period but found administrating justice in this fashion inefficient.
She wandered Sornieth for sometime, eventually arriving at Alihar as an excavator. However, noticing the disorder in the town's management, she began to assist residents with their complaints. Eventually, she was given an official position in recognition of her work.
