Quartz

Ever since she was a child, Quartz had a fascination with discovery. From the moment she learned how to fly, she was exploring new places and digging around for anything curious or interesting. She would often return home covered in dirt and mud, filled with glee at her latest discovery. She would spend days on end concocting stories for why an object existed, where it came from, and who it had belonged to before it ended up in her messy bedroom. Her curious nature was a constant worry for her parents, especially when she got herself into trouble. She had enough bumps, scrapes, and the occasional scar as proof of her escapades, and memories she would share with any who would listen. Her favorite was about one near-death encounter with an angry Hainu.
Quartz fit easily into the life of a dragon born in Light, where possessing a thirst for knowledge was valuable. But young Quartz became frustrated with staying in one place. Precious as her home was, as she grew older, she was making the same discoveries, never learning anything new. So, after some deliberation, she left her home and took to the skies in search of new adventures.
She saw many fascinating places on her travels, from the poisonous landscape of the Scarred Wasteland, to the vibrant green gardens of the Viridian Labyrinth. She collected glowing mushrooms from the Tangled Wood, observed molten magma flows in the Ashfall Waste, and sped through the air on the wind currents on the Windswept Plateau.
Ever since then, Quartz has not regretted leaving home, and has found the lands of the Wind flight particularly interesting, deciding to stay. Will she grow bored once again and leave for other lands someday? Only time will tell
