Hapi comes from the Donnern Division, a skilled lair full of very intelligent dragons who though their oddities have managed to come out on top. While he was still very young, Hapi drew great interest from the water, odd for a desert dwelling dragon to be sure, but nonetheless his curiosity had him learning early on everything he could get his claws on about the subject. As a result, Hapi read everything that the Donnern Division had on water and its ways of affecting the natural world, and even how it could be used as a potential energy source, but this still was not enough to satisfy his curiosity for the subject.

He went and investigated opportunities with all of the Donnern Division's flight emissaries, and found his best shot was actually to visit Light Flight, and hope that a clan there would take him in, and allow him access to their valuable records and tomes of all sorts.

Using his connections within his home clan Hapi eventually found the up and freshly started Mythic Clan; while he realized they were small and not fully equipped as he hoped they would be he also realized that it was a silly notion to ask for something and offer nothing in return. So taking his first real steps into adulthood Hapi has traveled to the Mythic Clan's lair in hopes of becoming a scholar of water in return for helping the clan build itself a reputation to attract even more potential scholars.
