Biography

Zerstoeren looked over at Jinna – or, more specifically, the carefully wrapped bundle in her claws. "What did you find this time? Another half-wild creature you plan to adopt? I thought you had your claws full with the Drone."

"She's not a Drone, Zersi! Not anymore. She's one of us now." Jinna rolled her eyes, carefully unwrapping the bundle and revealing a delicate blue-white flower. "Besides, it's just a flower!"

"Just a flower?" Zerstoeren peered at the accompanying scroll. "Jin, this could freeze a dragon solid! What if you had touched it by accident!"

"Well, I didn't! No harm no foul!" Jinna smiled. "Besides, it's really cool!"

Vinnie came over to the bickering pair, interested by the commotion. The Drone that the trio had adopted followed her patiently, as usual. "A Frozen Bluebell? Jin, did you wander all the way to the Snowsquall Tundra?"

"Nope! Just met a dragon who said I could find cool flowers in a field."

"One of these days-" Zerstoeren started.

The Drone leaned in close to the flower, then flopped onto the ground next to it with a soft thud.

The trio stared in a mix of horror and confusion.

"What are you doing?" Zerstoeren fretted. "You could die if you touched that flower!"

The Drone opened one nearly black eye. "Maintaining thermodynamic equilibrium," she replied.

"She kinda has a point. It's really hot outside. Maybe being frozen solid wouldn't be so bad..." Vinnie said, smiling.

"Frozen solid?" Jinna asked. "What if-" and she was already dashing away, without bothering to explain herself. She came back just a little later with a haunch of meat, and brushed it against the flower to freeze it. "Meat icicles!"

Zerstoeren still looked dubious. "That seems dangerous. I'd hate for someone to get hurt."

Jinna waved the meatsicle in front of Zerstoeren's face, until the teased dragon couldn't help but take a bite.

"Well... It's better than sitting here and overheating, I suppose."

"Exactly!" Jinna cheered. "One point for Jinna!"

"More like one point for the flower," said Vinnie.

"Details schmetails!"
