"This is a story. It is not your story, but you play a part." This "dragon" looks suspiciously like it has been hammered from sheets of metal rather than sporting the typical assembly of scales. Never you mind the whirring noises and unblinking, glass-like eyes, the mesh-like coverings for some of the joints, and the range of motion that doesn't seem quite normal. Sculptures typically aren't that animated, though. Sticking their snouts where they don't belong, grabbing whatever's on hand and storing it for later examination... At least the constant chatter is in a pleasant voice.

A golem whose original body resembled a giant stone spider/ant thing with a long neck, Narrator has since had their body reworked into a draconic shape, and later replaced with reinforced metal plating. Narrator is not happy about being forced to change their shape, although the metal was kind of nice.
A tireless (okay, not that special a trait for a golem) advocate for the rights of synthetic beings, Narrator is quick to point out when organics are taking advantage of or abusing their manufactured comrades. Clan Ith is one of the few environments wherein any self-aware construct is given the full rights of any naturally-hatched being, largely through Narrator’s persistence. Narrator also tends to babble nonsense over the intercom and open everyone else’s mail. With the Fairweather gone and Clan Ith split in three parts, Narrator has opted to join Interlude's ranks. While they no longer have any sort of radio gig, there's still plenty of mail to open and potentially steal. At this point, Narrator has stayed on as more of a curiosity - with their previous tender, Cynchak, having met an untimely end, the golem has no close comrades. Often treated as something of a magic 8-ball by visitors. |
