Biography

Canyon Home for Dangers to Sornieth
Prisoner ID#37830527

Emil. Whether or not that's his real name is uncertain, he certainly tricks others into believing wilder things. His bright colors and soothing voice and perhaps a bit of magic allow Emil to
Emil is a dragon of evil nature. No traumatic event in his childhood or accident with magic made him the way he is. And no event could have changed it.
Emil believes his life is guided by fate, that whatever is intended to happen will happen. And he is intended to be ruler of Sornieth. And as one who is destined to hold such power, and one who in his mind can not decide his own actions, why feel guilt over a reproachful deed? Why not enjoy it?
Emil takes pleasure in all the things that make others tremble before him. He speaks sweetly as he watches the life drain out of others. You see, Emil lives off of the life force of others. He is capable of letting them live, but rarely does. And more often than not his victims are willing. With calculated words and a small smile Emil seems to be able to convince other dragons of anything.
Emil uses this technique not just for hunting, but for playing with his food, as well. He has the ability to play terrifying mind games, so he does. And he enjoys it.
But that is not the end of Emil's powers. Not only can he control other's minds by power of suggestion, with permission he can enter the minds of others. This is dangerous, as it quickly drains his life force and leaves him liable to starve, and should the dragon change their mind they could trap Emil in their mind, effectively imprisoning him until he dies.
It was this situation that led to Emil's capture. He, originally from the Frigid Floes, had travelled across Sornieth, waiting for the chance to become the realm's supreme ruler. Emil was welcomed wherever he stopped. Only the most guarded and cynical dragons were safe from his hypnosis. No one questioned where their clanmates had gone until after he had moved on, and few recognized a connection between him and the disappearances, or that the liquid under his scales seemed to increase in volume after the dragons went missing. As Emil is quick to point out, few realize that life force is a liquid.
The only dragons safe from Emil were the hatchlings. Emil feels a fondness for the young that he can't bring himself to use them as food. Instead he found his favorite part of visiting each clan was telling the hatchlings stories and singing to them. Their mothers were also pleased, as his soft voice could sing even the most energetic hatchling to sleep. If only they had known how dangerous a dragon was holding their children.
During one of his adventures Emil met a dragon whom he immediately recognized as having power equal to or greater than his own. Emil eagerly approached her, curious as to how another dragon could control others as well as himself. The clan seemed at her command. Having never been taught to fear power like his own, Emil was fascinated by the dragon. He asked her to explain her abilities, but she spoke in terms he didn't understand. Unable to let the matter go, Emil asked to enter her mind. She agreed.
Inside her mind Emil found nothing. All had been hidden from him. Confused, and beginning to get hungry, he attempted to leave her mind and found he couldn't. She had willingly let him in, but was not willing to let him go.
Time passes differently in the mind of a dragon, quicker. Aside from the energy exerted to maintain his presence, the time distortion made Emil loose his stolen life force faster than usual.
What felt like days to him had passed before Emil felt himself forced out of her mind. He eagerly reentered his physical form and attempted to look about for a source of food, only to find himself restrained. The room was of a brown stone and the air was dry and hot, although clearly cooler than the rippling air above the baked earth seen through the one window.
Emil had remained here since. His need for the life force of living beings is supplemented with insects. He never seems to mind his state of imprisonment, and smiles when he complains about the food. Whether he is plotting or resigned to his situation is unclear.
