Biography
Saprotroph favours the month of autumn and thrives off the detritus and rotting bark of woodland and ancient forests. Treading silently he goes largely unnoticed by local wildlife, leaving in his wake a trail of warmly-coloured fungi anchored to decaying wood and animals. Upon spreading his wings he is able to absorb much of the energy of the rotting material in their shade; this, alongside the lifeblood given to him by Wound, sustains him. Prone to lengthy periods of rest, Saprotroph frequently likes to doze among fallen leaves during his methodical treks.
