______Like his mother, Ichorus was born with the ability to use blood magic. Unlike his siblings, he survived to adulthood. At his young age he was unable to control his powers well, and all three of his siblings met unfortunate ends under his crackling magic.
______His powers had lashed out at his siblings and gripped them like a vice. Taking the hatchlings' lives was easy for his strong magic to do. So was adding their latent powers to his own for the sinister scarlet energy. The poor hatchling didn't even do it intentionally. It was unfortunate that Ichorus' magic was born hungry.

______Blood magic is a tricky thing. There are so few dragons born with it, and most clans have written it off as a myth. Many dragons could never tell if a dragon has blood magic. It is deadly, dangerous, and very difficult to control. Dragons who possess such magic and kill another dragon will often absorb whatever latent or awakened blood magic the dead dragon once had. Having killed his siblings, who themselves possessed powerful magic like their mother, Ichorus' powers grew to unimaginable magnitudes. Because of this, he was very unstable as a hatchling.

______His own power-hungry mother saw this in him and sought to train him in his magic. He learned quickly, with each death at his claws he grew stronger.

______When he reached adulthood he grew bored of his mother's teachings. He longed to explore the world beyond, and carve out his own bloody path. And so he left the Hollow behind, and with it the remnants of his childhood.

______Ichorus also dabbles in a bit of Necromancy, using his inherent blood magic to assist in raising the dead.
