I am the leader of this clan, I protect my clan even though I have sacrificed a lot to protect them and make them happy...

Arrival
I was exhausted, I had been traveling for days. The thing that kept me going was the promise of a newly started clan, a clan where I had the chance to start a new life away from a clan that treated me like trash. I stood up from my bush and continued to trudge on along the path. The heat had started to rise ever since I had crossed over into light territory, I was used to the cold weather of ice territory. But despite the feverish weather, I continued along the path, then as I was about to faint, I saw the glory of my destination. The grand entrance was lined with roses and beautiful vines which were adorned with flowers. There was an elegant wall of rose bushes surrounding the whole area of the clan. The area which the clan resided in, was quite big at the time since it was newly established. On the far left side of the clan was the hatchery which was already filled with 3 eggs. The experience was something to marvel at, the roses, the soft pastel of the lilies, and the gorgeous flowering vines, in different shades of purple, to a velvet blue. At this moment, since throughout this whole journey I couldn't find a name that suited me, I decided I would name myself Petal.
Petal's Forever Memory
As Petal was swept into the clan, she was introduced to a very bubbly, happy, pastel dragon. "Hello! My name is Luci, I have been here for a few weeks. Since this clan is very new and kinda low on help, I have been appointed to give a tour to all the new arrivals, and show them their dens. You got that? Ok then, lets start with the tour!" she said, with a big grin on her delicate face. She was one of the most prettiest dragons I had ever seen, the pastel colors on her coat matched perfectly, with the intricate designs that seemed to dance across her flank. But before I could say yes, she started to walk to the far side of the clan and I followed, she showed me the hatchery and how I needed to check sometimes that the eggs to check if they were still healthy and what to do if they weren't. After a long while of walking around, Luci decided to introduce her to someone. She wouldn’t give any discription of the dragon but she didn’t need to, because the minute I saw him my heart skipped 2 beats. He was absolutely stunning,his coat gleaming in the light territory sun, his muscular build gave of him a stand offish look, but his gentle smile countered it. “Hello! My name is Samurai, how are you on this fine day?” he said in a friendly tone. “My name is Petal! I am doing good how about you?” I responded. Our conversation carried out like this for a long time until Luci decided I needed some rest in my den, we bid Samurai goodbye and then we started to my den. She led me to the far side of the clan area and to a den which was made of stone and not extreamely big but space, a few paces from this den there was another one and so on. All of the dens were adorned with vines and beautiful flowers ranging from a pastel pink to a deep sea blue. “Looks like you are going to live with me! It’s going to be fun I promise, we can go to the Marketplace tomorrow to decorate your side of the den. I think we could be really good friends.” said Luci with a big grin on her face. She was really sweet and I think that we could be really good friends to, but the thing that I couldn’t get off my mind was Samurai.
A few months later... Petal was excited. Tonight was the night she was going to confess to Samurai that she loved him. She had it all planned, she would invite him out to the clearing at night. That night she prettied herself up to meet with Samurai. Before she exited her nest Luci ran over to her and said. "Can I come to!? I promise I won't be in the way I just want to see what happens." Then she looked at me with pleading eyes. A small part of me nudged at my conscience and just told me to just leave her here. But I told her. " Well I could use back up! Then me and Luci walked to the clearing in the forest. As we were walking she gave so sorts of advice to me, about what to say when to say it, the types of conversations that Samurai likes. His favorite topics and food. As she was bursting with information, I thought, "How does she know so much about him? Why does she care so much what happens? Why would she still want to come if she knew she would become a third wheel? Then a thought nudged my brain, that her best friend has a huge crush on the the dragon she was going to confess to. Of course, I pushed away this thought, because nothing was going to stop me from having the best night ever. When I got there, Samurai was standing there, rippling muscles, shiny as a brand new diamond ring, with a brilliant smile painted across his face. He was dazzling to look at, My heart skipped a beat. This is everything I could have imagined. Then she looked at Luci for support. But her heart fell as she saw the same helpless look on her friends face. Then it hit her, Luci defiantly has a huge crush on Samurai. She looked at her helpless friend's face and thought. I can't take him away from her. This perfect night everything she had planned, fantasized, and processed, was going shatter her best friend. Her best friend, she and her were as close as sisters, the one who she always turned to for support, the one who had gave advice to her when she needed anything. Wanted one thing and I almost couldn't give to her. If she took Samurai, her friend would be shattered, she would be loyal and say how proud and happy she is. But when no one is watching she would cry, till she couldn't anymore." She took one last look at Luci, " At least she will be happy. " She thought. She advanced toward Samurai, he smiled at her, "Why did you invite me here in such a lovely night?" She nodded her head towards Luci, " Someone would like to say something to you. " She said with a wink and let Luci take her place. I watched as Samurai and Luci were chatting and laughing, a tear slowly trickled down my cheek then another. "She will be a good match for Samurai". Petal thought as she left the clearing, and as she left a golden orb fell from above. The orb was marbled with colors of pink and blue, then I realized, this was my forever memory that I will never forget no matter what. I took one hard look at the beautiful orb, picked it up and then walked out of the clearing.
