SeaSkimmer

A wistful and kind dragon, SeaSkimmer came to the lair on a freezing night. She was half-dead of cold, ice clinging to her spines and frost forming on her pearl. HazeGlider and MistSong helped back to health, and asked where she was headed.

"To my home!" she said cheerfully. "I must hurry to it." So she stayed the night and left in the morning, with DappleFang to escort her to the edge of their territory.

She was back a week later, again only staying for a night, again saying she was headed for her home.

It happened a third time, and a fourth. By her fifth visit, everyone knew her by sight, and MistSong came to speak to her directly.

"Where is your home?" the clan leader asked.

SeaSkimmer shrugged. "Somewhere! I haven't found it yet."

"But you keep coming by us. So is it close?"

She shrugged, then yawned, and curled up around her pearl. "Maybe. Maybe it is. I'm sure I'll find it soon, though!"

Again, she left the next morning. But on her next visit, she had brought something: a basket full of bits and bobs, interesting trinkets she'd collected on her journeys. "I think this might be my home," she told MistSong, when the other dragon came to greet her. "Is it okay if I stay?"

"Until you need another," MistSong agreed, and so SeaSkimmer came to join the clan.

She spends her days searching for interesting drift, things left by the tides and winds, that she might purpose to help her clan in all of its various needs.
