Workplace:
The clan forge
  1. Passionate about metal working. He mostly makes intricate and beautiful accessories, though he can make other beautifully crafted wares.
  2. More expressive than most Faes
  3. His makeup is modeled after another smith's that he and Tythnik had met on their journey to the Labyrinth. It is said to bring good luck and strong fires to a forge.
  4. Most of the pieces he wears are of his own making, but the steel tail cuffs were a gift from Tythnik
Loki was fascinated with metal from a very early age. The way it could be molded into such intricate shapes for various purposes, how it glowed red and orange in the flames of a forge. . . He couldn't imagine anything better.

His fascination started when he was just growing out of hatchling-hood. As he was allowed to explore more and more of the area which held his Arcane clan, he stumbled upon many strange and unusual things. Magic and science surrounded him on all sides, working together in a strange kind of dance. Then he stumbled upon the forge. Here, he ceased his frantic movements of exploration and fluttered down onto an outcrop above a workbench. He watched the smith, a Tundra who was holding a pair of tongs, heat up a thin piece of steel in the flames. Loki gasped in awe as the older dragon carried the steel out of the hungry fire and set to work. In what seemed to Loki like an heartbeat, the steel had been fashioned into a small loop, now cooled and unbendable.

This is what started his passion. The single moment of awe at watching something beautiful being made. It turns out that the Tundra smith was his grandfather, Tythnik. The older dragon took Loki under his wing and taught him the wonders of smithing. Loki could never quite get behind the heavy-duty wares that were usually made by Tythnik - such as broadswords or armor - and soon took to making smaller, more intricate pieces, such as accessories or figures. The two worked together in the forge for a long while, supplying their clan with goods and decorations.

This, however, did not last forever. Eventually the two decided to expand their craft to a new area. In time, they packed up their belongings, bid farewell to the clan, and ventured out to find a new forge. They planned to make their way to the Viridian Forest to try and bring the influence of fire and smithing to the lush and natural area, and since Tythnik had grown up within the forest and knew it well.

The two landed down in the forest after a very long journey. They had travelled with only the essentials, but even then they were still very heavy.

A Clan of dragons greeted them - their leader a light green Guardian who smelled of lilies. She welcomed them and urged them to stay a while. Loki and Tythnik obliged.

Over their stay in the Clan named LilyCatcher, they formed close bonds with it's residents. Eventually, they slowly set up shop and a forge within the clan. Finally, they decided this would be the clan to settle in.
