Terimin's personality is an odd dichotomy of being extremely arrogant at times, but also well-meaning and genuinely compassionate. He often catches others off-guard when he switches from loudly boasting about his newest song or how he's the one who dyed that scarf you're wearing and isn't it absolutely lovely? to fussing over someone's health or offering to help someone with some hard manual labor or dropping everything to help out a mere acquaintance. Terimin primarily finds work in creating dyes for all sorts of things from clothing to paints to food dye. He also paints and creates music that he gladly shares with the clan when the town gets together. He lives outside of the Windmarrow Town boundries near the coast in a small house with his not-quite-mate, Hineana. Hiisi Female Hiisi and Jhaarfa are the bestest of best pals! They help each other hunt: Hiisi is good at luring prey to the pond and then Jhaarfa it. They drag the carcasses of their bigger kills into town to share with everyone! They roll around in mud together. They sleep next to each other in the pond. They defend their swampy territory from intruders! Hiisi has almost adopted Jhaarfa in a way, though neither really realize that's what happened. Hiisi is extremely protective of Jhaarfa and will defend her viciously if need be. Jhaarfa can certainly take care of herself, but having Hiisi constantly around helps prevent other dragons from making mean-spirited comments to her. Her stare is terrifying. In return, Jhaarfa provides Hiisi companionship she has been unable to find elsewhere (she isn't very fond of other kelpies).

at some point in his past, terimin didnt get along with people. not because he didnt want to. he tried. people just... didnt seem to like him all that much.
he's afraid that the people he cares about will one day stop caring out of nowhere. so he's loud and enthusiastic and always talking about how great he is, bc surely, if others think he's great they'll be more inclined to stay, right? after all, its said that confidence is attractive!
now, a lot of his loudness and enthusiasm is genuine. he has a genuine joy and zest for life. but there are parts of himself he plays up in an effort to keep people from leaving him.
he falls in love with people so easily, but so often they leave. so, he loves meeting new people. he loves making new friends. but he's afraid of being alone. he's afraid of them leaving.
hineana helps. he doesn't feel a need to play up anything around her and he fully trusts she'll stay by him. he doesn't fear her leaving and as much as he loves going and meeting, befriending, and falling in love with new people, it's so, so nice to have someone to come home to no matter what happens. hineana is his stability.

Yeah he just. Kind of an arrogant little butt who still cares about other people a lot. Like yeah, he thinks he's amazing, but he also will totally have your back or try his hardest to cheer you up.

Also Hineana isn't... she's not really his mate?? They live together but he likes having freedom and likes having a lot of relationships and she doesn't really care. They love each other, but its... not really romantic.
