One can never have too many hunters and gatherers in a clan, and Keishin revels in the various vegetation found within the Lightweaver's domain. As a hatchling he would sneak out of the lair behind the gathering party and would gorge himself on berries, mushrooms, and roots. It was easy to tell when he had escaped camp - he could be seen with berry stains on his snout, and he always preferred to nap in the afternoons and evenings rather than play with his brother and sister.
Eventually, an older dragon decided he could help her gather fruit instead of eating it, and she welcomed his presence in her kitchen as she preserved food for the winter months. It was there that Keishin developed his love for preserving all kinds of plants. Blackberries, figs, and sugarberries are among his favorite jams and preserves; he also enjoys a bit of pickled beets every now and then!
