Guardian of the Willow: After the Lifebreather blessed them with this beautiful land, PoisonOak was dubbed the head of the small group that guards the trees. She felt like she was pulled to the Willow, her instincts telling her that this was her true Charge.
After an untold amount of years, the Protectors had met and became accustomed to their new neighbors. The trees feel different now. Like someone is poking a nest of wasps.
She does not like these trees one bit. The Willow radiates dark energies that makes PoisonOak's scales crawl, and, when she begins to drift off, she can feel something tugging at her mind. To her, it feels like something is trying to get in.
She visited Anita for help and was told that "The dangerous and ancient malevolence is stirring," and that it was only time before Lifebreather's crystals break. The Pearlcatcher honestly believes that Lifebreather will not return to them before someone figures out how to break the crystals. PoisonOak assumed she was crazy. All the Pearlcatcher seemed to know about was spirits and 'ancient malevolence,' but the feeling still remained. The pull was still there. Even her troop mates felt it. How in the name of Sornieth is this tree doing this!?
Fierce, loyal, and unrelenting. PoisonOak has the experience and skills to be an excellent guard. She has scars, proof of battles fought and won, and she bears them with dignity.
Though she has had hatchlings, she does not take on the role of mother, leaving the job of raising them to her mate, or to anyone really. Unless they are fierce fighters.
