After a long trek up a narrow path carved in the side of a mountain, you round a sharp corner and come across an opening. A pair of dragons snarl at you from the cave's mouth.
"Who are you?" snaps the all-red imperial female, clad in armor and various weapons. "We are not expecting anyone tonight."
After explaining to them that you are just a traveler, the second dragon, a brown Coatl male dressed in western attire, hums and mutters something in a different language to the imperial. She huffs and thumps her heavy tail on the floor of the cave. From further beyond, a green Skydancer male approaches and greets you before leading you down a staircase. Abruptly, the staircase opens up to a large cave carved out of the mountain. Along walls, separate room-like caverns are lit from inside. The main area is mostly open, with stalagmites and stalactites like support columns are surrounded by structures with more rooms built into them. Walkways and bridges cross the cave, as well as nets used like giant hammocks. Looking down, there are multiple floors, most of them only loft-like half-floors. The entire place is decorated and lit by fire, keeping the cold chill of the freezing temperatures and cold stone walls out. You can hear water running below, as well as multiple conversations. There is music playing somewhere. Food is being cooked, but the smell of herbs and spices is surprisingly not as suffocating as you would imagine it to be in a cave.
The inhabitants of the clan are lively tonight. A variety of species are buzzing about, most with jolly expressions. You can overhear the words 'party' and 'festival' across the many conversations. The Skydancer leads you onto one of the bridges and to the mouth of a cave larger than the rest. Inside are a Fae male, Tundra female, an imperial male and female, and a female Nocturne. The latter smiles and jumps to greet you.
