From a young age, Reimi had always grown up in the presence of other Assassins, her mother had been a compassionate woman who saw kindness in everyone even despite the profession she lived around. Compassion was something Reimi had learned from her mother and something she always kept in mind even when she began taking hits for the Guild she grew up in. She learned the way of the sword as she got older and ways to harness her magic to make her more lethal in her hits, enchanting her sword with a spell that would conjure ice from the blade to attack her foes. Yet, despite how formidable she became in battle, she never forgot her mother's kindness. It served as her guidepost as she began to navigate the world on her own, taking hits from the Guild but never picking ones she thought unjust. After her mother's passing, Reimi left the Guild to find her place among the other dragons in Sornieth, taking up temporary contracts with other Guilds as she traveled. Yet even despite joining some of the more ruthless Guilds, she always refused hits that she believed were unjust or unfair. Every time she would turn one down, her contracts with the Guilds would be broken and Reimi would keep traveling. While she enjoyed her life on the road, Reimi wanted something a little more permanent.

That was when Reimi met Xerxes, a fellow Assassin who held the same ideals she did. He intervened in a deal gone wrong. Reimi had turned down a hit with a group she'd been under contract with, they had wanted her to complete a hit on a mother after she missed a payment one too many times. No matter what she'd done, Reimi couldn't oblige a hit like that. When the contract holders tried to get violent, Xerxes stepped in. He took the beating intended for her as the contract was declared over. Expressing her thanks, Reimi tended his wounds and helped him back onto his feet, learning the two were more alike than she initially thought. Curious about his venture to create a Guild with standards, Reimi tagged along his journey, being an ever present reminder of the path they walk should he ever stray too far. Settling in as Xerxes' mate, Reimi keeps their members in line and handles the information channels across Sornieth.
