Time Keepers Subspecies

None of the deities have ever been able to manipulate time, not even the Arcanist. The closest one to figure it out was the Lightweaver. She made many attempts to warp and use time but including an experiment on a live dragon. She unknowingly caused the dragon to have an underbelly of constantly draining sand. At first it seemed useless and inane but the dragon was soon haunted by terrible visions of what would happen to the Lightweaver if she continued her experiments. His prophecies developed quickly and were more accurate than the Tidelord's. The Lightweaver realized what she had done to this dragon and knowing that he would be very useful, she kept him and made him her Time Keeper. The Lightweaver hoped that after the dragon died no one would take on his curse, but she was not aware of his children who inherited his abilities. They obtained a less powerful version of prophecy but kept his hour glass underbelly which would drain sand until the time they left Sorneith. As centuries passed the dragon's descendants formed two different groups but together they were called The Time Keepers.

Prophets of Hope

Prophets of Hope are the happier and brighter group of the Time Keepers. They have the ability to predict hopeful events. These dragons tend to be very positive and supportive. They tend to be lighter in color.

Prophets of Doom

Prophets of Doom are haunted by dark prophecies of terrible events. Unlike their hopeful cousins they are negative and often tend to scare other dragons with their prophecies of doom. They are usually darker colors and intimidating.
