Two lost souls on a battlefield. And one glance that changed everything. When they arrived to eliminate this weak and ill clan, he suddenly felt a sensation. He couldn't really describe it, but he felt as if he no longer was lost. As if he suddenly found what he never knew was looking for. And when he was about to join his father, he saw her. A black-scaled female guardian, just like himself, but with eyes, that speak of a windy heritage, while his are cold as ice. But that didn't matter the moment they locked glances. If his life had a center or a purpose, he forgot what it was. It was her. Always and forever her. That moment only last a few seconds, before she, seemingly also captured by this weird sensation, came back to the situation they're in. She carefully grabbed the small hatchling tighter and continued her flight out of the lair. Good. For now she was safe. And after this fight was done, he would make sure, she always felt secure and happy. |

SHRII, the Ashmane Chimera ______________________________ | When he had to fight in the arena, he stumbled over a chimera, unlike any he saw before (and he won't see one like this again for a very long time), it seemed to have been banished by their kind, for his uncommon looks. Also it seemed to like him, following him everywhere he was going, even trying to help out with the fighting. But it always ended up with him having to protect the still very small chimera. And when the time finally came and he was allowed to return home, he brought the chimera with him. |

A REASON TO FIGHT Fighting. That was everything he knew and everything he had learned from the beginning. The SharpClaw Clan was no place for weaklings and only the strongest were respected. ShadowSong's father, a strong, black scaled guardian like himself and also the leader of the SharpClaws, were especially strict with his children and if they showed even the smallest weakness, he would throw them out mercilessly. When he and the other hatchlings of the Clan were barely old enough to hunt for theirselves, they were brought to the Arena and were told to only come back when each of them had won 1000 fights. Many of his former playmates died in there, but giving up was no option for ShadowSong. He would show his father, that he was worthy to stay with the SharpClaws. He struggled at first and didn't stayed unscarred, but he finished the task and came back. While his father did approve his survival, he still treated him like all the other recruits. He vainly waited for any fatherly words. After surviving the first obstacle on his way to become a respected member of the Clan, Vixstrom, one of the bravest and strongest warriors, was assigned as his mentor, to polish and improve all the strength and skills he got from fighting in the Arena. Together with the other apprentice, a white scaled Wildclaw named Schneewehe, he now learned how to use all that strength properly. |
