Zepheniah

Her body and wings were was pure white, glittering in the sunlight. Often they
would cast pearlescent rainbows around the walls of her warm house. Her parents adored her, playing with her and spending days with her, wrapped in a comforting greeting of love. Until the day the men attacked. The men attacked the Coatl Nature village that her family lived in. She remembered running, sliding on the wet grass that stained her pelt. She ran and ran until she saw her house, and gasped with sheer horror at the sight. The windows were broken and the door was ripped off and in pieces in the yard, destroying the pristine garden her mother worked so hard on. She ran to the door and entered in time to see everything she loved ripped forcibly from her. On the floor lay her dad.
His sweet, cherry eyes were blank and lifeless, his pale rose stomach was
slashed and his body was mangled. He lay in a pool of his own sanguine blood. She ran up to him, big streams of water running down her cheeks and splashing onto the floor, disturbing the streams of red. She knelt next to him, her wings splashing down into his blood, staining them.She cried more tears and screamed out, her vocal chords shredding themselves from the sheer sorrow that forced itself out of her.
Suddenly, a scream of pure terror shot through the house, in a voice so
familiar that her heart shattered even more as her eyes widened and her legs shook. She bolted upstairs, just in time to see a young Wildclaw female back her mother into a wall. Her mother's eyes shot around and finally met hers. Her mother smiled one last smile, tears dripping down her face, as the Wildclaw pounced on her neck.
The hatchling screamed, a bloodcurdling roar that shot ribbons of gold
energy through the air, circuits of gold running down her body and tainting the ends of her cream and sanguine wings. Golden chains shot from the circuits that crisscrossed her body and ripped through the sadistic Wildclaw who still wore a smile on her face as she died. A Golden fire erupted from the little girls wings and overtook the house, her eyes glowing like miniature suns. Everything went white.
She awoke, the sounds of crackling fires played softly with the crickets and
winds. She stood up, looking around to see ash and fire. A golden tear erupted from her eye and plopped onto the ground, splattering everywhere. She would never forget what happened. She was someone new entirely. A hunter, a killer. She accepted her new body, the dark colors a grand contrast to her old pale body. And with a new body, comes a new name. she thought, scrunching her eyes together. Zepheniah, The Witch of Endor
