Salada

Once a young tundra, Salada was forced to breed change by Axel soon after hatching, for fear that she wouldn’t survive in the harsh desert environment. However this forced change appeared to cause more problems than it fixed.
She still has a sizeable layer of fur over her whole body, and despite now being a mirror it only slightly helped her terrible eyesight.
On top of this her fins on her head and arms are much smaller than they reasonably should be, with the fins on her head actually being flexible, and thus functioning more akin to ears.
The most damning problem for her however, is that the change significantly stunted her growth and the development of her wings membranes. As such she is unable to take flight from the ground, however she can glide around for short periods of time.
While she can’t hide her patch-colored fur, she tries her best to hide the fluff with her outfit, and tends to use her ice pick both to get around and for combat.
Finally, because of her experience with Axel, she has a disdain for most pearlcatchers and tends to avoid them if she can.
