..............Every youth that goes through Faithful Forests's education system has to work their hardest to gain the approval of Astrid, the math teacher. She is a strict perfectionist with the highest of expectations, so she pushes her students to give her nothing less than their best. Her own mind is built for math, it seems; she can solve a problem in seconds, no matter how many factors you throw at her. And she expects her students to get to that point, too. ..............Astrid grew up rough. The daughter of JurassiCamo and a dragon that was not his mate, she was not raised in a familial manner. Really, she was hardly raised at all. She was left to fend for herself as the majority of those she knew left for exaltation, and yet she herself was never called upon. And Astrid had no intention of ever leaving the grounding of Sornieth. ..............For a few years, Astrid left Faithful Forests to travel the world. She spent a good chunk of time in Driftwood Drag, before returning home in her older years. The clan was more organized and diverse by then, which caught her off guard but made her feel welcome. Once she had returned for good, she took her undeniable skill with math and became a teacher in the Nourish Nursery, in which she is now most youth's least favorite teacher. (She doesn't care.) |
