❀ Biography ❀
Named for the Strawberry Dottyback, Pseudochromis porphyreus, Phyre came to OwlWood in June of 2014. Born an Imperial, he decided to transform himself during the 2014 Night of the Nocturne, and he greatly enjoys the increased mobility and dexterity this new form affords.

His new dexterity comes in particularly handy, as he is the clan's primary silversmith. He loves making jewelry the best, but also gets a great deal of satisfaction from crafting ornate armor, and the occasional figurine. Unlike most of the dragons in our clan, he prefers not to be surrounded by other creatures (especially since his reduction in size). Now, there are only a few birds who are welcome in his workshop, particularly his magpie, Thjofr, who is a near-constant companion. Magpies are notorious for their penchant for grabbing up shiny things, and Phyre has decided that the cost of having the occasional thing spirited away by Thjofr is vastly outweighed by the number of valuable gemstones and metallic objects that the bird brings back.
