The quiet Guardian is cryptic about her past (the escape from a city with no name), but she speaks with a rough eloquence when weaving her tales. Many of them feature fantastic elements and faraway lands, old technology and long-dead leaders, causing many to doubt their authenticity. But who knows?

Strange things happen in the Rustlands.

Tajah was laughed at when she refused to give up her trade after the collapse of society. "There is no longer a market for salt." It was a dead trade, they claimed. But dragons forgot how fast meat spoils in the desert when the ice dragons flee to home.
