Promise was born into a wealthy family but being born in the Scarred Wasteland has its drawbacks. He is constantly weaker than most dragons, much smaller, more meek and fragile. He is prone to disease and sickness and many avoid him because of it. Unfortunately, he was separated from his father and mother, stumbling through the bramble of the Shadow territory with broken bones until he was found by Broken. They formed a bond, and a relationship, one where Broken promised to protect him and care for him. Sometimes they meet, shrouded in the night. Broken insists it's the only way they can meet, but Promise tells himself that he won't be fooled again. So, why does he continue to meet with him...?
