Despite looking totally innocent Altai is really into the darker arts and loves using his ice powers to mess with people. However he also uses it to dazzle the females even though only one has his eye he's very sweet and likes to amaze others.

What they don't know is that he also likes to freeze others and use them to help Kitai.

He has also become fast friends with Samhain and Shadow for different reasons. Samhain and he share the Sanguine Glimmer and thusly Altai sort of looks up to him. Shadow is a Mysterious Ice Mage and Altai really wants to learn some of his magics.
