The Transmuter
. 
A young skydancer with an affinity for transmutation spells, Adhafera is learning fast, and definitely the hard way in some cases. But fortunately Borean likes quartz chess set more than the old marble. After cultivating her talents under multiple mentors, Adhafera is now in charge of Scrolls: various bought pattern- and breed-changes. Due to her organized nature, she also assists at the Vault. As a hobby Adhafera collects odd items she has transmuted to different material, such as feathers made of metal, a vial of bone, and her silks that were originally water. While Fiathene is the one who the dragons go for colouring, changes made by Adhafera go deeper than that. Gene- and even Breed changes, elemental mutations and other oddities are her speciality and she has assisted her clanmates in their endeavours for changes. Together with Thalia, Adhafera works as clan’s mediator and counselor, giving advice and mental healing when necessary. However, there’s a darker vein under the usually sweet and mild-mannered dragon: with her empathy, she has a very good picture of what hurts most, and she will use it to her advantage. Not to mention that her sense of humour is found disturbing by many (other than the ones, such as Borean and the Duo, whose sense of humour matches hers). Still, she is good friends with Fiathene and Evaenir and gets well along with most of the clan. Her mate is Girtab who, according to Adhafera, is amazingly sweet. Since the pair aims to create a battalion of blood-thirsty offspring for the Warpack, her assessment is not shared with all. In battle, Adhafera usually stays in the air, helping the frontline and Screaming Sunset by harming and confusing the enemy. Short term transmutations and polymorphs can be surprisingly effective. Also, if she is given enough time, she is also very capable for making permanent changes to her enemies, including turning them into stone. |
