I was originally in a clan that was very well known in arcane. Every day dragons would practice magic to see who was the strongest. At the end of every month, a few dragons would be tested to see their magic abilities. I wasn't very fond of magic myself and never felt obligated to train my abilities, so every month I would hide somewhere in my clan area for a day to make sure that my clan wouldn't have my makeup test that day and would come back and say that I was gone getting a new spellbook which went unnoticeable for some time. As I got older it got harder to miss my test day, and soon I had to start leaving for weeks in order to miss it. Sadly, after 7 months of missing tests, my clanmates decided to lock me up in order to make me take my test. The next day when I took my test I did great at map reading and doing research it came to the last part of the test, using magic. As the dragon came down the line of dragons telling them what to perform, I could hear the sound of cheering after each dragon did their beautiful magic, but when the dragon came to me and said to make a basic arcane slash, not even a spark came out!

People thought I had some sort of illness because I couldn't use magic and took me to a medic named Jalapeno who lived in a wind clan because one of his students said that he was the best medic he had ever seen, and Jalapeno said that I was the healthiest dragon he had ever seen! I was taken back to my clan and was made fun of by my used to be friends and treated like an outcast by the adults even the kids played a game to see who would get the closest to me. Soon I was constantly being beaten up by the one thing I couldn't use, so I would wear armor to protect the most needed body parts. I slipped into depression, but then I thought about I came to this state I remembered Jalapeno and how he was so happy that I was so healthy and thought about running away and living in that clan hoping to be accepted by them.

The next night I said goodbye to my parents and flew away as fast as I could while trying not to be seen by my other clan mates. At first, I would wear an invisibility cloak so that no one in wind territory would see my eyes and take me back to my clan. I looked for Jalapeno's territory everywhere including the Cloudsong. While I was in Zephyr Steppes I asked a blind dragon if he knew where a dragon named Jalapeno. Thankfully he had just been given eyes because they had been clawed out by a dragon he was fighting, but since the eyes were from a different clan than he was he became blind. He said to head for the Reedcleft Ascent towards the northeastern part. About an hour or so after I started heading that way and came into a clearing with a stream running through it. I took off my invisibility cloak in order to not ruin it so I could get a drink of water since I hadn't drunk any fluids for at least two days. I chugged heart's content then I started to unpack my invisibility cloak to put it back on, but after I grabbed it out of my sack I was slammed onto the ground by a white cloaked dragon. She said that I was crossing to close to her clan and that she knew I was a spy, but before I could say anything she knocked me out.

When I awoke I could tell I was wearing a blindfold but could hear some dragons whispering to each other around me. A dragon said to state my name and why I was scouting their camp. I said my name was Dorin and that I was not a spy I was just running away from my clan searching for someone. Then my blindfold was taken off and I could see five dragons in a half circle in front of me. The dragon which I assumed was leader asked who I was looking for. I said that before I told him I wanted to know their names. The green one said his name was Toaster and the dragon sitting next to him was his wife Cranberrysauce and that they were the clan leaders. Then two dragons covered in armor, one of which was the person that captured me said that their names were Blueberryplum, and Popcorn and they were the main fighters of the clan. The last one that was left was named Berrycrunch who was a shaman for the clan. I said that I was looking for a dragon named Jalapeno because I wanted to live in his clan because he was the only dragon that was ever kind to me. Little did I know that Jalapeno lived in this clan! He came in and told everyone that he had treated me not so long ago and that I was magicless. He asked why I wanted to live in his clan and I told him everything. I was then informed that I would happily be accepted into this clan for who I was inside no out, and I have been here ever since.
