Lodestar

Lodestar used to work on a sailing ship as a navigator. It is unknown what he used to do before, since he left home and changed his identity. He did have a different name before he was a sailor, but he changed it to Lodestar soon after joining the crew. They were a merchant ship, and they made frequent voyages from Starfall Isles, taking goods to the Shifting Expanse and the Ashfall Waste. He's quite used to cold weather, since they would have to sail past the Southern Icefield. He's decided to settle down for the time being, although he often sits outside the lair and gazes out at the ocean. Lodestar has unwittingly adopted Northstar, and he will often be found excitedly recounting a tale from his sailing days to them.
