B I O G R A P H Y

Thalher’s are ranked by their primary coloring; black based Thalhers rank in the middle of their pack like mentality. They are not as violent and bloodthirsty as their shimmering platinum brothers, and they look absolutely tame compared to their gilded larger sisters. Carminah is not known to be outright savage without reason, unlike like his larger siblings. However, what he lacks in blatant aggression he more than makes up for in sheer determination.

When he is determined to do something, there is little to no chance of stopping him. Especially not by his pint size adoptive mother Ceathru, who he only vaguely listens to because she feeds him. Even she has trouble directing him away from whatever he has set his mind to. All in all, Carminah is fully capable of being every inch the monster his subspecies is seen as, he just doesn't have the desire to present himself as one unless provoked.

On that note, his primary concern is food. Anything that can be hidden in his stomach is a prize to steal, anything that can be eaten is a game to catch, and anything that will fight back is a challenge to eat. You'd think Carminah was a walking stomach how often he is seen eating some small animal or another that he managed to catch (or steal). When he isn't eating, he's usually talking about food. When he is eating, he's talking about how good it is. Even in his sleep he talks about food. That's right, Carminah talks in his sleep, much to the annoyance of his adoptive father Chautha. Every so often something will slip from his dreams to his more conscious thoughts and his adoptive parents will faintly hear "Swamp Rat" or "Pancakes" as the obsidian coated beast dreams of hunting or eating.

Were Carminah human, he would be a bodybuilder in stature. He's heavily muscled, and some wonder if his wings are even functional with the bulk they would have to lift. For all the bulk he carries and considering how much he eats, there's little to no fat on his frame. From hatching he was on the large side bith in his height and his bulk. Carminah is a bit tall, rivaling some of those who would rank higher than him, but being muscular and tall came with a price; he is, from nose to tail, shorter than he should be to be considered proportionate.

Not that being a bit bulky stops him from being what he is, the muscles and towering height are enough to intimidate most as a Thalher should. And when it comes down to it, he can use the power of those muscles to his advantage or his ‘family's’ defense. Though overall Carminah is more bark than bite; when he does bite, it's best to steer clear of him and avoid getting between him and a meal.
