[img]x[/img] x Gaspard is the former bookkeeper and quartermaster of the Frostfall clan. His ancestry is unique in that he is closer to the ancient Gaolers than the modern Tundras. This made him suitable for the work of the Gaolers keeping the Vaults. Life in the Frostfall was one of brutal and often thankless duty and sacrifice. Gaspard inherited that duty from his mother, who inherited it from her father, tracing back to his earliest ancestors.
[img]xg[/img] While loyal to Kutaal and satisfied with the work he performed, Gaspard did not want to stay in that position forever. And yet, he was unsure what he could do or where he could even go. Was it selfish for him to want anything else?
[img]xg[/img] Discussion with his friend/apprentice, and heir to the Frostfall Maati, not only grew his fanciful dreams for a different life but provided the motivation to take action and change. When Maati broke out of the Vaults and headed out into the frigid wastes, Gaspard was one of the dragons who followed her lantern light into the unknown. A new life awaited some elsewhere.
